Festival Schedule

Thursday, May 1st
Starting at 2 pm, Thursday arrival is available to those women who choose to help on site with festival infrastructure on Friday before the main activities begin.   It is mainly for arrival and set up of personal campsites. If you arrive and set up your camp on Thursday  then we will be expecting your help with basic festival set up tasks Friday during the day! Many hands makes tasks flow smoothly and quickly. Once your own camping space is set up you can check to see what else is happening to plug in to as far as the main fest goes!  Late morning and early afternoon we will post signs around the grounds creating basic infrastructure like the communal dish wash area, temple structure and decoration, workshop and contact boards, setting up the sound equipment on the stage as well as decorating the pavilion. some tasks do not require much muscle so we welcome all and any helpful hands!
Some women might lead a specialized workshop on Thursday early evening, but usually Thursday is for infrastructure crew arrival, set up and socializing.  Often those present in the evening will gather around one of the many campside firepits, if there is no burn ban, to reconnect, make music, relax or even start planning a skit for the variety show!
♥️ Arriving on Thursday ensures you can participate in our Temple creation on Friday.
We believe the best temple creation comes from passionate women working together.  If you have never attended fest before this is a perfect opportunity to get to know other attendees and feel connected to the community.
Please note that this is a Pagan event and we believe our bodies are beautiful in all shapes and sizes.  You can expect some nudity, especially at the pool area.

🐶 🐕‍🦺 ***If you must bring your dog to festival there will be an onsite fee of $25 directly to the venue which you will need to declare and pay at the gate when you arrive. All dogs present MUST BE ON LEASH at all times.  We don’t encourage women to bring dogs, but if you do you will also need to sign our waiver at the gate that you are the one responsible for all their actions and be aware that it will be inappropriate to bring them to most workshops.

Friday, May 2nd
On Friday the festival focus begins with the arrival of more women throughout the day, vendor set up, and our Temple Creation to the Goddesses of Love and Healing on the hill early mid day!  Usually there are some morning and afternoon workshops posted to attend.  Welcomes and Announcements take place just prior to our opening circle around 7:30ish.
All of the workshops onsite are presented by various women attending the Festival and decide to share this as a love offering to the community. we believe our community has all the skills and ability to enrich our lives in this way.  If you charge for handouts or supplies please include that in your workshop info when posting onto our onsite workshop board.   We have had AMAZING workshops in the past. Some are regular most years and some are new and different every time.   This is a wonderful way to connect to the community and help it to grow and build.

  • Throughout the day ~ Workshops as scheduled and posted by leaders on the workshop board. Will you be one to bring a workshop to life to enrich community? Check the board in the pavilion early to see what is offered or where you could schedule your own!  Workshops in the past have included: Yoga, Meditations, Self Blessings, Runes, Drumming, Belly Dancing, Tarot, Leadership, Chanting, Spellcraft, Poetry, Creative Writing, Reiki, Heart Healings, Self Massage,  Shamanic Journeying, Grief Processing, Goddess Arts and Crafts such as Making Spirit Dolls, Fimo Goddess Clay Jewelry, Beading, Pussy Prints, Breastcasting, Prayer Flags and MORE! Workshop subject, time and location will be determined by what participants are called to bring and share with Community!  Workshop location spaces include the Goddess Temple, the Stage, the Pavilion for Arts and Crafts, the Meadow, and even the Pool Area has been used.
  • Noonish ~ Temple Creation Community Building on the hill if weather permits and Crone Camp set up if that was not needed Thursday. We may adapt our temple into another space on the land if there is much rain forecast. This is a rain or shine event!
  • 7:30ish ~ Gathering for Festival Announcements and Opening Circle.   After the opening circle in the meadow we will process to the temple for a blessing of the Goddess Temple Space.
  • 9:30ish ~ Drum and Dance Bonfire at Main Fire Ring!  If there is no Burn Ban then we will have a bonfire! Bring your drums and other instruments if you like as well as your voices for Community Revelry (weather and burn ban permitting…regardless, we can still gather and drum in the pavillion!)

  • All day ~ AMAZING Vendors!  Come share your wares! • 5:00ish p.m. ~ Goddess Feast communal catered Dinner for all tastes in the pavilion
  • 8:00ish pm ~ Variety Show Extravaganza which never dissapoints!   You may bring backup music on your pod or phone that we can play for you if needed for your performance.  We will have 3 mics, for instruments as well as voice.    Come share your talents, moves, voice or instrument, seriousness or your silliness and fun with an amazing supportive audience.  We love it all.  Beautiful Magic happens on this stage!  Be forewarned, we do get a bit wild in our fun and revelry and NO PHOTOS ARE ALLOWED to keep it safe for all!
  • Post Variety show sheet dance party!  Cast your shadow moves with your friends.  Fun to watch and to join in!  Usually there is a good fire going at the main fire pit as well from which you can even still see the stage!
Sunday, May 4th
  • 10:00ish a.m. ~ Potluck Brunch,   Please bring any leftovers or extra food you have to share for an optional community feast in the pavilion.   Last chance to buy raffle tickets!
  • 11:00ish a.m. ~  Black Cauldron RAFFLE!  ❤️Women and vendors always bring amazing things for  the raffle table.  So bring cash for tickets! Buy tickets, work your magic mojo and hope for the best!  All winners get to choose what they want from the table that is still remaining when their name is drawn!  Towards the end those lucky women with so much mojo and tickets usually share and lots of fun is had by all.
  • 12:30 ish ~ Brunch clean up, pretty please
  • 1:00-2ish General Closing Circle held in Temple.  Afterwards the Sacred Goddess temple take down happens  with as many of your hands as possible to help it go quickly. What goes up must come down.  Big Fest Truck reloading commences.  (We always save an extra special raffle item to raffle for the women who come help unload the truck on Monday night if you happen to live in the Austin Area !)
  • Sunday night is a relaxed time for those still onsite where we continue to swim, socialize, have fun and also discuss new ideas for the next festival! We often cook over the fire and hang out together for dinner at someone’s campsite or in the pavilion.  We even had karaoke onstage one year.  It is not always the same being an organic experience.
Monday, May 5th
Monday at fest is scheduled so we have time in a relaxed way to take down our personal campsites say goodbyes and gather the remaining infrastructure together to finish loading the Big Fest Truck. More hands help make the work light!  This really is a festival we create together.  That includes take down as well. We have found women get so much more empowerment and community from this experience.  It is magic and karma.

  • 2:00 p.m.ish ~ We have a final releasing ritual together  and say farewell to the land, each other and release our protections and wards.
  • 4:00 p.m. ~ We drive away!  At this time everyone has to leave the property, hopefully taking home joy, contentment, empowerment, new friends, new skills, a healing heart full of fun memories including some ideas of whom they want to invite to the next Springfest!
  • WE have special cleanup raffle items reserved for those who help us load and then unload the fest truck back home.  WE provide dinner and a swim in our pool as well!  If you live in the Austin Area this is a wonderful way to serve the community and help make sure that festival keeps on happening!!! Sometimes Women who returned home on Sunday come over Monday evening  and help with unloading and decompressing.   WE always have awesome conversations about the current festival and what could be fun for the next! WE will give our address and timing onsite for any wishing to help with this aspect of creating festival.

This amazing Waterfall and pond are part of the main festival campground.   The water level in the pond and waterfall possibilities are always affected by how much drought vs how much rain we have had.   It is fed by underground springs as well as overflow from upstream Onion Creek.   This inspired the SPRING in our festival.   Our ancestors used to meet and worship at the sacred springs and so we do now as well.   When the water is flowing well and the temperatures are warm enough many women love to take a dip in the natural spring water just above as well as below the waterfall.
