We are so thrilled to once again gather to invoke and celebrate the Goddesses of Love and Healing live and in each other’s presence! Intentionally and safely creating sacred space together in community as Goddess loving womyn we gather beside the Sacred Spring celebrating each other and enjoying the beauty of Springtime in the Central Texas Hill Country. Spring Goddess Festival, affectionately known to attendees as “Springfest,” is a community of open hearts where every woman learns and sets her own boundaries.
Womyn learn to respect the boundaries of others also, bringing who they are to celebrate life with an empowered community in a thoughtful way. Here, we create effects which we carry back into our daily lives. We empower, honor and encourage each other flowingly, creating an event where we womanifest a reality of loving support, conscious interactions, smooth flow, powerful workshops, amazing vendors, beautiful music and sublime spirit. Know you are Beautiful.
Know you are Strong. Know you are Light. Know you are Love. ♥️Come help us create a temple dedicated to Goddesses of Love, Healing and Pleasure. ♥️Bring your talents and skills to share in the way of on-site workshops. You may place a maximum number or charge a fee for materials if needed and attend as many workshops as you please. ♥️Bring musical instruments to share at your campsites and with the larger community in our sacred Saturday night variety show comprised of all women who wish to perform. Some dance, some sing, some read poetry or perform skits while others bask in their enjoyment of these revelries! ❤️Bring your camping gear as this fest is a total campout! We do have hot showers and flush toilets. There is also an outdoor shower for those inclined. There are a number of RV slots available and if you are not a big outdoor camper there is a Bed and Breakfast down the road and some motels within 12 miles from festival! ♥️Bring food. We encourage friends to plan and prepare a campsite and some of their meals together. Only on Saturday night will we have a prepared catered meal On Sunday we have a potluck brunch to share all of our leftovers. Alcohol is also permitted at this celebratory event, however, we caution women strongly against over altering their mood and abilities, especially during the daytime. Not only is it inappropriate for some workshop attendance it can lead to disengagement and missing festival enjoyment in general. ♥️Bring something YOU would want to WIN for the raffle! Something fun, something snazzy, something utilitarian, something cool!!! The raffle will take place Sunday morning and supports our scholarship fund as well as the overall festival experience. Raffle winners will get their pick of what is on the table! Bring some cash for raffle tickets! |
Springfest Coordinators Victoria and Kasi met at Stonehaven Ranch outside San Marcos, TX in the Fall of 1998 at another local festival. Both women volunteered their time to that festival in different capacities over the years, even jointly coordinating together in 1999. Kasi also discovered an amazing campground near Dripping Springs on Onion Creek when her drumming troupe was hired to drum for a bonfire there. She introduced Victoria to this new fest and campground as well and together they were inspired to create an annual Goddess Festival for women 18 and over during the Springtime on this beautiful property next to these amazing sacred Springs.
Kasi and Victoria envisioned a celebratory festival, honoring and celebrating Goddesses of Love, Healing and Pleasure, a modern interpretation inspired by the Sacred Eleusinian Mysteries here in Texas. This would be a gathering where the participants would be empowered to build the elements of the festival within a strong structure, encouraged to find their own place in the creation and expansion of the Goddess community. This would be a magical place where adult womyn could commune together in ways supporting their deepest beings, aiding them in confidence and self healing. In 2001 the dream became a reality and the first Springfest was celebrated by a group of fifty women. Texas Spring Goddess Festival grew organically over 19 years to about a consistent hundred participants. In 2020, the arrival of the COVID pandemic necessitated a pause and we put festival on hold for two years until it was clear how to be safe to gather together again. Over the years this festival has created an enriching community which maintains contact throughout the year on our private Facebook page, which one can join after attending a Spring Goddess Festival. We look forward to growing together again into the future. Blessed Be Sacred Springfest Goddess Community! 🙏🏽♥️🤗. |
